Rock on!

    Lately I have been practicing my photography by attending local band gigs. It isn't easy to get a good photo in the dark rooms with the subjects moving around. This is one of my favorites. It is Justin from Shadow Status. I loved the guitar in the photo. The design on the guitar is so cool. The torn jeans add a nice touch too. Yes, his fingers are a bit blurry but he was playing at the time I took the photo and I think that also adds to the feel.  He said I could use this photo in my portfolio if I would like. Along with using the photo, I will also put in a plug for the band. Here are a couple of links to their web sites:

   They will be playing at the Tulip Festival in Holland this year. Come out and see the band and enjoy the festivities!

    I thought you did a good job on the photos you shot for us. It's definitely tricky with the combination of dark rooms, flashing lights, and the crazy, clown-like antics of the performers. On behalf of the Yard Sale boys I'd like to give you a BIG thanks!
